In an continues effort towards networking, collaboration and partnership with all relevant stakeholders in the state, Ungogo Lafiya Waqf Foundation payed a courtesy visit to KHET FUND. During the visit the Representative of Magajin Malam District Head of Ungogo also Chairman Ungogo Lafiya Waqf Foundation Alhaji Shehu AbdulKadir Ahmad gave the historical background of Ungogo Lafiya Waqf Foundation right from formation up to current stage of concurrent program implementation/intervention and continues community Resource Mobilization.
To her own part, the Executive Secretary appreciated the visit including the WAQF initiative (EHF). She directed the Director Operations read out the agency sources of fund, Fund utilization, Beneficiaries and process for accessing funds from the Agency.
Outcome
1. The organizations commend FCDO-Lafiya for developing the WAQF concept (EHF) and technical support to local communities currently operationalizing impactful initiative for the betterment of the society
2. The ES pledged to link 3 engaged female health personnel by Ungogo Lafiya Waqf Foundation to state owned training institutions for more trainings
3. Ungogo Lafiya Waqf Foundation to leverage for services and interventions provided by KHET FUND through partnering MDAs: SMoH, HMB, SPHCMB, KSCHMA and others 😷.
4. The ES presented the Agency beneficiary guide and operational guidelines to Ungogo Lafiya Waqf Foundation.
5. A group photo was captured with ES and her team holding information sheet of Ungogo Lafiya Waqf Foundation, which clearly indicate support and advocacy to general public for donation to WAQF Foundation.
